GLP inspection
CEMAS has been inspected by the United Kingdom GLP Monitoring Authority and it was confirmed that our Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance has continued in accordance with Directive 2004/9/EC which permits us to undertake work in the areas of Analytical Chemistry, Ecosystems, Environmental Fate, Environmental Toxicity and Phys/Chem Testing. A new statement of compliance was issued in August 2010.
GMP inspection
CEMAS has been inspected by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) which has confirmed that CEMAS operations are in general compliance with the principles and guidelines of good manufacturing practice (GMP) laid down in Directive 91/412/EEC. A new certificate of GMP compliance in was issued in August 2010.
CEMAS Bioanalytical Service
CEMAS provides a bioanalytical service for samples collected during pre-clinical and clinical trials and this area of expertise has become an established part of the Pharmaceutical Department.
