Residue Analysis Service


The Residue Analysis Section analyses crop, soil and veterinary residues to generate data to support agrochemical and veterinary registrations. The diverse and versatile workforce has the capability to manage Studies from initiation to submission. The Section has many years' expertise in generating data to regulatory guidelines including Directive 91/414/EEC, OECD/GD (97) 148, SANCO/825/00 rev.6 (2000) and OPPTS 860.1340.

  • GC-MS operating in EI and CI modes
  • IC with conductivity detection

Storage Facilities:

  • Environmentally controlled storage, which is continuously monitored.
  • Freezer rooms monitored to record specimen and air temperature set to maintain temperatures below -18°C.
  • Cold room set to maintain 4°C.
