Vacancy: Junior Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Are you a science graduate looking to apply your technical knowledge in an office-based role? Do you want to start a career in Quality Assurance with a supportive and dynamic team?
About Us:
CEMAS is an independent, privately-owned contract research organisation providing analytical and regulatory support to the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, veterinary medicine and biocide industries. Since 1989, we’ve been helping clients generate robust registration data under GLP, GCP, and GMP standards. Our Wokingham facility is accredited under the UK GLP, GCP and GMP compliance programmes.
The Role:
We are seeking a Junior QA Officer to join our Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your QA career while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit of GLP/GMP/GCP study plans, data and reports for compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan, conduct and follow up of GxP laboratory and quality systems audits.
- Review and approve quality documentation and records including SOPs and validation documentation.
- Maintain quality records and associated trackers.
- Assist in the timely completion of tasks to develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
- Motivated, proactive and able to manage scheduled work activities independently.
- Excellent time management skills and able to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Numerical, analytical and investigative skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Desirable:

Experience or understanding of deviation & CAPA management.

Knowledge of audit readiness and quality systems.
